Hi everyone, welcome to our blog. When it comes to alpaca care, we all need any information we can get. We've been in the alpaca business for about seven years now. In the alpaca clothing business for about a year and a half. We would like to exchange any information and discuss any topic you want.
Our news flash for the moment is: after all these years raising alpacas we finally realized if when it's feeding time (especially during the winter) you put out hay the minute you walk into the barn, you just may not get trampled when you bring out the grain. We have been doing this for a while now and what a difference. Try it, put out the hay, go about your other chores (water, cleaning up the never ending poop pile, etc.) It's a big difference, as I said, you just may not get trampled.
